In 1992, husband and wife team, Chef Michael Peters and Marybeth Peters pioneered French bistro-style cooking in Morristown. Originally housed in an elegant storefront in Morristown, this bistro restaurant is evidence of Michael's devotion to his art and Marybeth's spirit of hospitality and dedication to excellence in ambiance and service. Pierre's, a local landmark, is considered one of Morris County's finest restaurants.

Michael's credits include: graduate of the Paris Cordon Bleu, chef-proprietor of the premier-rated Brass Rail, and stints with French Michelin stars Michel Chabran and Marc Meneau.

Marybeth manages the front of the house, always guiding the delivery of polished and attentive service in this unpretentious French bistro.

Pierre's features French-inspired dishes that can include fish, fowl, and game. The food is always simple, down-to-earth, and meticulously prepared.

A well-researched wine list, containing more than 135 selections, provides diners with wines of distinction at moderate prices.
